Over the years, The Star has become a vibrant hub of activity and entertainment, offering a variety of events that attract locals and visitors alike. We host popular party nights featuring discos, live bands, and karaoke, giving everyone a chance to unwind without worrying about driving or cab fares. Our buffet breakfast service for local shoots and the two big weddings we’ve hosted, complete with hot running buffets, have become the talk of the village.

Saturday 8th March - Village Litter Picking
It’s time for the annual litter pick once again in our lovely village. Join us for free bacon rolls and coffee for all litter picking volunteers from 11am.
Saturday 29th March - Ralphy's Race Night
In aid of the fantastic Sara Lee Trust, John Ralph is raising money with a Race Night. We know it’s going to be amazing! Join us from 7pm, everyone is welcome!
Sunday 30th March - Mother's Day Lunch
A delicious 3 course lunch & the lovely Wayne Bridle singing to entertain you, from 3pm.
