Real Ales - Our Real Ales are sourced locally from Kent and Sussex:
Rother Valley Brewery (Northiam)
Established in 1993, this brewery uses hops from Hoads Farm in Sandhurst.
McCann’s Brewery (St. Michaels)
Another local brewer, situated on Hukins Hops farm.
Harvey’s Brewery (Lewes)
The oldest independent brewery in Sussex, dating back to 1790. This family business resonates with our own values.
Lagers - Our bar offers a range of lagers, both regular and premium:
Fosters is an easy drinking lager that is perfectly balanced with moderate vanilla tasting notes – 3.7 %.
Becks, German style pilsner lager with a smooth taste and crisp finish. Four ingredients – water, barley, hops and yeast 4%.
For the younger connoisseur market, we have Cruz Campo, Heineken Extra Cold and Bierra Moretti. These are premium range lagers. Cruz campo is a Spanish Beer from Sevilla, brewed since 1904. It has light hoppy notes, and a fruity aroma, 4.4%.
Heineken Extra Cold is slightly lighter than regular Heineken, smoother and less bitter, the secret is in the name, chilled to zero, served extra in a pre-chilled/frozen glass, 5%.
Bierra Moretti is an unfiltered premium lager with a hint of sea salt, first brewed in 1860. Like Cruz campo it has hoppy fruity notes with a moderate bitterness. 4.6% Neck Oil an easy to drink craft IPA, with a light zingy taste and a hint of hops. Brewed by Beavertown, based in North London. 4.3%.
Heineken 00 on draught.
And of course we have Bottled Budweiser, & Heineken Silver, completing our lager offer.
Guiness - Draught Guinness, needs no explanation
A pint of the black stuff. Rick, dark, creamy, smooth, with bitter sweet notes. 4.3%.
Ciders
Inches Cider is brewed in Hereford from British apples sourced within 40 miles of the mill. It is a lightly sparkling cider with a fresh apple aroma, perfectly balancing sweet and dry for lip smacking refreshment. 4.5%.
Bottled Bulmer’s, both Regular and Red Berry flavour complete the cider offer.
Our Wines
Our wines come from Harvey’s in Lewes. They have a specialist wine buyer, who sources wines from independent wineries from the UK and worldwide, that align with Harvey’s ethos. We hosted a wine tasting evening and invited our customers to help us select our wine list. Once completed, Harvey’s designed and printed it. Wines are offered at 175 or 250ml or the whole bottle.
WHITE
Pinot Grigio – Il Bandiera, Italy. A real favourite with peach and apricot on the nose, leading to a fruity and zesty palate. Sauvignon Blanc – Santa Alicia, Chile. Floral and light with tropical passion fruit and hints of pineapple.
ROSE
Zinfandel Rose – Wildwood California. Gorgeous medium style with strawberries and cream notes.
RED
Cabernet Sauvignon – Vistamar, Chile. Bold, upfront blackberries and cherry flavours with silky, soft tannins. Merlot – Cadia, Italy. Super juicy with raspberries and cherries, this is light and bouncy on the palate. Great with tomato pasta and pizza.
Malbec – La Ponderosa, Chile. Robust yet silky smooth with rich berry fruit, spice, black pepper and dark chocolate.
SPARKLING WINES
Available as a single 20cl serve, or a bottle.
Prosecco – Salgarada, Northern Italy. Refreshing sparkler with soft apple and pear fruit notes, made from the Glera grape, with a lemony freshness.
Spirits
We offer a selection of Gins, flavoured and infused Gins have become very popular, so we try to keep up with the trends by offering market favourites. We have a Gin cocktail menu available. We offer both branded and house gins.
Vodka, again Smirnoff and house. Equally with brandy, Courvoisier and house. Dark rum, Captain Morgan spiced rum; Jack Daniels; Southern Comfort. Whiskey’s – blended and single malt. Cointreau. Disaronno. Tequilla. Shotz. Pimm’s. Sherry.
Soft Drinks
Soft Drinks include the full range of J2O’s. Regular, diet and coke zero, as well as lemonade. Ginger beer. Fanta. Appetiser. Mixers. Red alert. elderflower cordial.
Coffee
Bean to cup coffee is offered. Regular dairy and oat milk available.
