Our Story – in short!
Roots in East End London
Yvonne lived in Bethnal Green since 1983, bringing a rich culinary history and passion for cooking to our pub.
From School Meals to School Cafés
After a long career in catering management for Lewisham and Southwark school meals, Yvonne joined Compass Group, overseeing several prestigious London park cafés.
A Friendship Forged in Food
Yvonne and Lyn met while managing the busy Dulwich Park Pavilion Café, forming a strong partnership through shared dedication and hard work.
Birth of ‘Yvelyn‘ Catering
Yvonne and Lyn’s collaboration led to the creation of Yvelyn Catering, providing top-notch café services and outside catering in Southwark.
Serving Up Sunday Roasts
Yvonne brought her culinary skills to the Victoria Pub in Bethnal Green, serving delicious Sunday roasts and catering events for Charlie Magri, world boxing flyweight champion.
A Taste of the Seaside
Holiday retreats to Winchelsea Beach and adventures to Disney World in Florida added a touch of wanderlust to Yvonne and Lyn’s culinary journey.
